Mr. Retrum co-founded the Business Aviation Group, LLC (BA Group) to provide aviation based real estate consulting services to high net-worth individuals, airports, FBOs, and businesses. Today, along with the dedication and experience of his partners, Mr. Retrum has grown the company into a full-service aviation real estate company, assisting clients in holistic design, feasibility, and development of aviation facilities, as well as real estate transaction, marketing, and general consulting services.
David’s passion for business aviation is reflected in his four decades of rewarding experiences and meaningful assignments. His knowledge of the aviation industry is extensive and provides perspectives not only from the operational and financial viewpoint, but also from the sales and marketing arenas.
Barry Sherman is an owner and principal of the Business Aviation Group, having more than 25 years of experience in the commercial development, design and construction industry as a senior executive and business owner. He has extensive experience in the planning, design and construction of aviation hangars, FBOs, ROM facilities and similar industrial commercial-type projects in locations across the country valued up to $25 million.
Boasting over 20 years in commercial real estate, Jessica excels in appraisal, market research, and asset analysis. Recently, her focus has sharpened on aviation, with an impressive 16 projects annually, specializing in hangars, developments, and FBOs. While she partners with National Valuation Consultants for appraisals, her broader expertise flourishes at Capital Peak Aviation, handling consultations, valuations, and in-depth market analyses. Additionally, Jessica sits on the board of the Colorado Aviation Business Association(CABA).
Kendra has 15+ years of project management experience in tenant improvement design and development. She worked at Worksuites, adding 23 spaces, leading a rebranding effort, and expanding into new markets. Kendra holds a PMP certification. She also enjoys volunteering at her son’s school and spending time outdoors in Colorado with her family and their German Shepherd, Maxine.
Christen is a dynamic senior real estate management executive with over 16 years of expertise in leading substantial P&Ls, managing executive teams, and driving high-profile development projects. In her career, she has expanded a regional portfolio into a national footprint, aligning financial, operational, and strategic objectives across multiple organizations.
Alexandra has a deep passion for business and general aviation and for supporting the people who make it thrive. Over the years, she has built experience across many facets of the industry, including executive support, aviation operations, leadership, and sales. She brings strategic insight, operational expertise, and a genuine commitment to customer service and building strong partnerships. Alexandra currently serves as President of the Colorado Aviation Business Association.
Aron is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in real estate, management consulting, and business development. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and former management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led high-impact projects across the defense and civil sectors. Along with a lifelong passion for aviation, Aron leverages his analytical expertise and leadership experience to drive business growth and transformation.
